Sympathy
Our sympathy is with Mike & Patti Morgan following the passing of Patti’s mother, Verda Vandiver.
Ladies Retreat
There is still time to sign-up for the spring retreat March 26-28 at Pine Cove Christian Camp outside of Tyler. See Marsha, Anne, Donna, Kay or Kelly to make your reservation. Information sheets are available at both “Welcome Centers”. Make your plans now, it promises to be a wonderful weekend.
Senior Adults
Our next SAMPACC meeting will be February 18th at 6:00 PM. Our Program will consist of Pizza followed by the movie, “Amazing Grace”. The cost of $5 per person is to be given to either Stan Ballou, Ken Bell, Jack Gott, George Hatfield, Ray Jones or Phil Landrum no later than Sunday February 14th. If you or your spouse are 60 or over and you have not attended SAMPACC before, we would love to have you join us.
Authentic Purity Retreat
We will be hosting a Purity Retreat, featuring Steve Holladay, on March 5-6 for all 6th-12th graders. Packets and Registration forms are available at the Information Centers and in the Youth Suite.
Sweetheart Banquet
We will be having our annual Sweetheart Banquet this Sunday, February 14th for 60 years and over. The banquet will begin immediately following church service.
Lydia’s Class
Ladies, please join us on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. For the next several weeks, we will have a ‘mini series’ which will be based “On The Mountain With God”.
Small Groups
Small Groups begin next Sunday, February 14th. If you have not already signed up please check out our sign up sheets in the main hallway. If you have not attended a small group before we would like to encourage you to become part of a small group. If you have any questions feel free to ask Kevin Dale, Greg Clay, Todd or Basil.
Intern Candidate
Cody Clifton, a student from Harding, will be with us this Sunday. Come hear him teach class on Sunday morning. He will also serve at the Sweetheart Banquet and interview with our Youth Planning Team.
Youth Small Groups
Our Youth Small Groups will begin on Sunday February 21st. The High Schoolers will meet at the Rosser’s and the Middle Schoolers will meet at the Pryor’s.
PAWS
Our Park Avenue Wednesday Supper, will be February 24th in the Fellowship Hall. $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children, maximum of $15.00 per family. Everyone is invited.
Ladies Tea
Hear Ye!!! Hear Ye!!! Announcing an Old English Tea set for Saturday, February 27, one ‘til three. A proper tea for ladies … treated like nobility held at Park Avenue C of C... for those of the gentility! Bring your favorite teacup, wear your best dress hat. Mark your calendars NOW!!! …..We’ll have a jolly good chat! Christian sisters are so important we know you agree. To strengthen those relationships come and visit at the Tea. Cheerio!
