As we worship together this morning let’s focus on the Father’s love for us! The reason we are here is to lift up the One who has redeemed and rescued us. We give him praise and devotion with our entire being this morning. Put away the distractions and worship Him in the splendor of His majesty.
If you haven’t signed up for a new small group, I encourage you to do that today. Some groups are full at present but others still have openings. If you’re interested in a particular small group, do not hesitate to talk with the group leader or with me. We believe small groups are an excellent way to get connected at Park Avenue and get to know more people on a deeper level. Small groups are a huge support for one another during the year. When there are needs and personal prayer requests, the small groups play an important role. Small groups are also an excellent avenue to go deeper in Bible study and to share openly in a relaxed atmosphere. God has blessed our small group ministry through the years and our eldership is convinced this is a vital ministry of the Park Avenue church family. If you are a new member or guest, we encourage you to check out our small group ministry.
This Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. we will have a PAWS (Park Avenue Wednesday Supper) meal. One of our small groups is putting that meal together...which is greatly appreciated. Please sign up today on the communication cards if you will be attending that meal. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children and $15 maximum for a family. Come and enjoy the fellowship and good food.
I want to highlight the Prayer Mail Ministry orchestrated by Kathy Sturch. This is an excellent way to be aware of prayer needs among our church family and friends. A lot of people are being blessed by the power of prayer and the blessing of interceding for those with physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
