Vacation Bible School
Mark your calendars for our Pre School Vacation Bible School! Babies-Kindergarten will have their own special VBS June 21-23. It will be in the evenings this year from 6:00-7:30 PM each night. Lauren Whiten and Mindi McGehee will co-direct the program and will need many volunteers to help make the event a success!
American Red Cross Fund Raiser
The Texoma Area Chapter of the American Red Cross will be having their Seventh Annual Fund Raising Garage Sale Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, March 29 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the old Goody’s Building, Midway Mall. Donations welcome, call (903) 357-3499 for information or to schedule a pick up.

SAMPACC
SAMPACC will not be meeting at the regular time this month. Instead there will be a special Senior Adults Night Out on Saturday, March 20th. The Park Avenue Dinner Group and the SAMPACC group will combine for the evening. They will meet at Devolli’s Restaurant for dinner at 5:30 PM and then at 7:30 PM finish the evening with some “Fabulous 50”s” entertainment at the
Rialto Theater. You can attend one or both of these events. Sign up sheets are located at each of the Information Booths. Reservations are critical and will be made from the sign up sheets. We encourage you to sign up for both events if possible. Group rates at the Rialto for our group (15 or more) will be $9 each. Those that will attend the Fabulous 50’s entertainment at the Rialto, please give your money to Stan Ballou or Ray Jones by no later than March 14th. The tickets can be picked up when we meet at Devolli’s and someone will be waiting inside the Rialto at 7:00 PM with your tickets.
Reception
There will be a Reception for Matthew and Carrie (Coop) Hogan in the Fellowship Hall between 2:30-4:00 PM on Sunday March 21st. Everyone is invited.
Girls Socks
Lubbock Children’s Home is in need of girls socks. If you can help with this please place socks in the baskets in the main hallway. Thank you.
Thank You’s
Thank you so much for all of the prayers offered on my family’s behalf. The loss of my father is so deeply felt. He was a quiet, gentle man who lived to serve others. Thank you also for the beautiful plant sent by the church. Jim and I have been made to feel so very welcome at Park Avenue Church of Christ. We always leave with a blessing and a song in our hearts.

The party's over !!!!! (for now) We loved having each and every one of you who attended the Old English Tea; and wasn't it a treat to have our Christian sisters from Western Heights join us? The stories told will be remembered for a long time to come and the friendship's made will hopefully be ongoing - beginning with our Tea!!!! Thank you, Joan Penn-White, for teaching us the ways of a proper Old English Tea. Everyone enjoyed your accent and your stories. We would also like to thank the entertainers: Marsha Jones, Cheryl McKee,
CheChe Smith and Anne Kirkpatrick. Your talents will be long remembered! Our Heavenly Father gave us a wonderful day to enjoy.
