Authentic Purity Weekend
What a terrific weekend. I am so thankful for this congregation and their desire to support an activity like the Authentic Purity Weekend. Thanks to all of you who signed up and helped at one of our time blocks. That is much appreciated. Thanks to all those who helped recruit in this community. I know how powerful ’word of mouth’ advertising can be. Thanks to all those who devoted time to praying for our weekend. Thanks to Steve Holladay who has given up a weekend with his family to come share with teens this vital message. And finally thanks to our students who had the willingness and desire to sign up and be a part of this weekend. It is my prayer that you have been truly blessed by the experience. More than that I pray that your thoughts, decisions, desires and actions are more in line with the will of your Father who knows and wants what is best for you. Praise God for a wonderful weekend, for the other groups who joined us and for the resources we have to do such fantastic events.
Parents - don’t forget about the Parents’ Session this afternoon from 2-3:30. This is a great chance to get a feel for what has been discussed this weekend, what kinds of questions your child may have, or what he/she may be sorting through after the weekend.
Youth Small Groups
Our Youth Small Groups are off to a great start. We will take a break this week after our long, exhausting weekend. We’ll resume next week. Thanks to the Pryors, Rossers, Rich and Jennifer Thompson and Kelli Powell for their role in making these groups a success.
Wilderness Trek Meeting
For all those signed up for Wilderness Trek, we will have a 45 minute information meeting (for Trekkers and parents) on Wednesday night March 24th immediately after Bible Class. Our list is quickly filling up for Trek (5 spots remaining) which will take place July 9-15. If you are interested in joining us or have questions contact me.
