The Park Avenue church helps support several mission works through the world. Included are the following:
Samuel Solis Reyna: Monterey Mexico
Beginning March 2005 Park Avenue assumed the support of Samuel & Elania Solis Reyna of Monterrey Mexico. Samuel has been preaching the Gospel for several years in Monterrey. He and the church currently sharing the building where his father preaches have acquired land and will begin building in the near future. This work has been the fulfillment of Park Avenue's goal to be the primary support of a work near enough for us to have regular interaction with. Six PA members visited Monterrey in February 2005 and interviewed several candidates and the Missions Committee decided to support the work of Samuel Reyes. The opportunity for evangelism seems excellent in Monterrey, a city of neary 4 million people.
World Bible School
Approximately 30 PA members serve as study helpers for Bible students throughout the world enrolled in the WBS correspondence courses. Annually we have had over 17,000 contacts and dozens of baptisms reported. Stewart Taylor is PA's deacon over WBS.
Jeff & Brenda Holland
The Hollands were part of a church planting team in Togo from 1993 to 2006. They have returned to the states and Jeff is currently studying at ACU as PA and others help him finacially make the transition. Jeff is the son of PA members Buddy & Janet Holland.
